Bridal Makeup, naturally flawless skin - Ellinda Makeup Artist Melbourne

Bridal Makeup is one of my passions and that's why I love doing makeup and hair on my Melbourne bridal clients. As a hair and makeup artist one of my loves is to make people look effortlessly flawless, which is exactly what most bride's want! The trick to this is to be able to conceal a person's skin imperfection's (we all have them!) without packing on the product. The product also has to be professional and well as suited to the person's skin. Also sometimes the trick not the product I use but how I apply it. Example if I need to hide a significant imperfection on a bride, such as; a blemish, rosacea, or uneven skin tone. I may use a very full coverage concealer however, I may apply it with a natural fibre brush or a brush that is fluffy and allows me to blend the creamy or liquid product onto the skin without it looking cakey or obvious. This also allows you the build up the product and still keep the skin looking natural.

The other key to looking healthy and flawless is to be LUMINOUS! Well I think so anyway, we all want to glow don't we? Obviously we want to glow within reason, we don't want to look oily. However I very rarely choose a completely matte look for my clients unless they request it or have naturally very oily or shiny skin.

A highlight along the cheekbone and touch down the middle of the face will give that healthy glow we all want. I also love using cream blush, this gives the skin a more hydrated look and is also fantastic on mother's of the bride as ageing skin loves hydration.

Some products I love to use are;
